STORY BEHIND THE DRAWING:
We lived in a small town in Namibia's north-eastern Caprivi Strip/Zambezi Region. The borders of Zambia to the east & Botswana to the south were only a couple of hundred meters away.
One weekend we ventured into Kasane in Botswana to have our visas reissued. Kasane is a town on the Chobe River renowned for it's abundance of wildlife: elephants crossing the road, warthogs blocking traffic, and many snakes.
It was in this town that we saw a group of people from the Tswana tribe dancing to heavy beating drums and beautiful harmonies.
